Essential DJs

 ————————————————————-

Nesrib – Sis

Rumours are flying about the Sis is actually Ricardo Villalobos, others sayin Luciano or Raresh, however his real name is Burak Sar and he is signed onto a Berlin based label, ‘Sei Es Drum’ and ‘Cecille’ along side Johnny D and Robert Dietz.

Its slanted percolating rhythms and oildrum beat take their time, but soon go echolalia. SIS filters in a dense rush of samples, shards of talk spliced together to sound like too much mouth for two ears. It has a clever abstract sample from 1988 Vanessa Williams track ‘The Right Stuff’. This track along with Trompeta have been marked as tracks of the summer by many of the big name DJs.

i can never agree more with you about EDX being number, this guy is a miracle. He never produced any bad song or remix. I noticed he has lots of work with leon klein, but couldnt find any to download
